OUR VETERINARIANS

Dr. Rich
Veterinarian

Dr. Rich Coleman grew up in Fairfield, Ohio, and began his journey into veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant at the age of 15. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati before graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Rich took over Plum Veterinary Clinic in December 2006, changed the name to Four Paws Animal Hospital in 2007, built a new facility in 2012, and began a remodel in March 2019 to allow for more growth and opportunities for our community.

Dr. Rich has been recognized and received awards from the Warren County Drug Task Force K-9 Unit for his work with their canine officers. His contributions include raising money for bulletproof vests for the canine officers and free annual check-ups and vaccinations for these valuable members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. Dr. Rich and the staff at Four Paws Animal Hospital currently care for over 20 members of the active and retired canine officer force throughout Warren County and surrounding areas.

Dr. Rich is very proud of his community and shows his support in as many ways as he can. He sponsors various sports programs, collects clothing items for local shelters, and has provided Thanksgiving Dinners for over 100 Lebanon residents, participates in Christmas Giving Trees, provides his services to Warren County Career Center Veterinary Science Program, and participates in reduced-fee programs through Warren County Humane Association and so much more. He truly believes that his community gives back to him and these are just a few ways that he can give to the same community that supports him.

Dr. Rich is married to Jen, a school teacher at Lebanon City Schools. In their free time, Rich and Jen enjoy traveling, scuba diving, camping, and riding their jet skis. They have two daughters, Gabi and Juli that participate in rock climbing, Lacrosse, Volleyball, and Cross Country Running. The Coleman family has two cats, Miss Sally and Dory, and two black labs, Scuba and Rosie.

Dr. Ashley
Veterinarian

Dr. Ashley has been with Four Paws Animal Hospital since October 2009. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati before graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, one year after Dr. Rich. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old and considers it an honor to be able to see your pets.

Dr. Ashley lives in Lebanon with her husband Greg Orosz, and her two children, Lily and Parker. She has two rescue dogs named Fergus and Cricket. She is a shameless cat lady and has 3 kitties named Mr. Kibbers, Toki, and Momo. Dr. Ashley has a soft spot for homeless and older pets. She thinks puppies are adorable, but there is nothing better than soft, wise eyes and a gray muzzle. She also enjoys traveling, yoga, and running after her children in her spare time.

Dr. Kristen
Veterinarian

Dr. Kristen grew up in Mason, OH, and has been working in a veterinary hospital since she was 15. After graduating from Kings High School, she completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University, where she obtained degrees in Zoology and Neuroscience. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During her time at OSU, she acted as Vice President of her class and participated in Dermatology Research.

After completion of her degrees, Dr. Kristen returned to Cincinnati to work in small animal general practice. She has special interests in preventative medicine, dermatology, surgery, and internal medicine. During her free time, Dr. Kristen enjoys cheering for her favorite Cincinnati sports teams, spending time with family, and being outdoors. Currently, she lives in Lebanon with her husband Alexander, and their cats, Goose, and Scotch.

Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim grew up in Cincinnati, OH, and was immersed in sports, school, and work from high school and beyond. She started working in a veterinary hospital during her undergraduate summers and was involved with research at the university. She attended Butler University and Morehead State University for her Bachelor’s degree, and the University of Arkansas for her Master’s degree with a focus on immunology and nutrition. During her time in Arkansas, she worked on a hog farm and spent a summer in Nebraska working for USMARC-USDA. Upon her return to Ohio, she graduated from The Ohio State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Her special interests are sports medicine, orthopedics, and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys following Ohio State football, spending time with her family, and taking every opportunity that she can to get outside and be active. Dr. Lisa
Veterinarian

Dr. Lisa grew up in Whitehouse, a small town in Northwest Ohio. As a bit of a bookworm with a love for animals, veterinary medicine seemed an obvious career choice for her from a younger age. She graduated with her DVM in 1999 after attending Ohio State University for both undergraduate studies and her veterinary medicine degree. After first working with Dr. Rich in 2002 at another clinic, she is excited to be working again with Dr. Rich, as well as the entire Four Paws family. She enjoys the variety of people, patients, and conditions she sees on a daily basis as a veterinarian. The patients she often finds most rewarding to help are those with allergies, arthritis, and/or geriatric conditions.
