OUR VETERINARIANS

Dr. Rich
Veterinarian

Dr. Rich Coleman grew up in Fairfield, Ohio, and began his journey into veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant at the age of 15. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati before graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Rich took over Plum Veterinary Clinic in December 2006, changed the name to Four Paws Animal Hospital in 2007, built a new facility in 2012, and began a remodel in March 2019 to allow for more growth and opportunities for our community.

Dr. Rich has been recognized and received awards from the Warren County Drug Task Force K-9 Unit for his work with their canine officers. His contributions include raising money for bulletproof vests for the canine officers and free annual check-ups and vaccinations for these valuable members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. Dr. Rich and the staff at Four Paws Animal Hospital currently care for over 20 members of the active and retired canine officer force throughout Warren County and surrounding areas.

Dr. Rich is very proud of his community and shows his support in as many ways as he can. He sponsors various sports programs, collects clothing items for local shelters, and has provided Thanksgiving Dinners for over 100 Lebanon residents, participates in Christmas Giving Trees, provides his services to Warren County Career Center Veterinary Science Program, and participates in reduced-fee programs through Warren County Humane Association and so much more. He truly believes that his community gives back to him and these are just a few ways that he can give to the same community that supports him.

Dr. Rich is married to Jen, a school teacher at Lebanon City Schools. In their free time, Rich and Jen enjoy traveling, scuba diving, camping, and riding their jet skis. They have two daughters, Gabi and Juli that participate in rock climbing, Lacrosse, Volleyball, and Cross Country Running. The Coleman family has two cats, Miss Sally and Dory, and two black labs, Scuba and Rosie.

Dr. Kristen
Veterinarian

Dr. Kristen grew up in Mason, OH, and has been working in a veterinary hospital since she was 15. After graduating from Kings High School, she completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University, where she obtained degrees in Zoology and Neuroscience. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During her time at OSU, she acted as Vice President of her class and participated in Dermatology Research.

After completion of her degrees, Dr. Kristen returned to Cincinnati to work in small animal general practice. She has special interests in preventative medicine, dermatology, surgery, and internal medicine. During her free time, Dr. Kristen enjoys cheering for her favorite Cincinnati sports teams, spending time with family, and being outdoors. Currently, she lives in Lebanon with her husband Alexander, their adorable children Logan, Abby, and Olivia and their cats, Goose and Scotch.

Dr. Kim
Veterinarian

Dr. Kim grew up in Cincinnati, OH, and was immersed in sports, school, and work from high school and beyond. She started working in a veterinary hospital during her undergraduate summers and was involved with research at the university. She attended Butler University and Morehead State University for her Bachelor’s degree, and the University of Arkansas for her Master’s degree with a focus on immunology and nutrition. During her time in Arkansas, she worked on a hog farm and spent a summer in Nebraska working for USMARC-USDA. Upon her return to Ohio, she graduated from The Ohio State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Her special interests are sports medicine, orthopedics, and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys following Ohio State football, spending time with her family, and taking every opportunity that she can to get outside and be active. Her household consists of an Arkansan, Chris, their two children, two Labrador Retrievers, Doris and Louie, and two cats that she has acquired since becoming a veterinarian, Doug and Martha.

Dr. Jayme
Veterinarian

Dr. Jayme grew up in southern New Jersey, just over the river from Philadelphia.  She grew up at the pool, swimming and coaching, or in the vet clinic.  She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island.  She graduated with a degree in Animal Science and Technology with a minor in Chemistry in 2002.  After that she moved to Columbus Ohio to go to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She graduated with her doctorate in 2006.  This is also where she met her husband, DJ.

Dr. Jayme has worked for a variety of veterinary clinics in the area in many different capacities, including relief work.  She is happy to be working with a few Four Paws vets she has had the pleasure of working with before!  She has settled in Lebanon with her husband DJ, who is a Veterinary Ophthalmologist in the area.  They have two active boys, Trey and Dane.  They round out their home with their two dogs, Philly Fee and Sydney, two guinea pigs, Kai and Olive, and a bearded dragon named Eagle.

Dr. Jayme continues to swim in her free time with the Countryside YMCA Masters team.  She loves going to Lake Cumberland with her family to camp and boat.  She likes watching OSU football, some Cincinnati Reds games, but stays true to her Philly sports teams.

Dr. Mary
Veterinarian

Dr. Mary grew up in Georgetown, OH, and has been working in a veterinary hospital since she was 13. She did her undergraduate work at a tiny college in Illinois, Eureka College. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Being a veterinarian has been her dream since she was a little girl.

Dr. Mary loves internal medicine, senior pet care (can’t beat a sugar-faced grey muzzle), physical rehabilitation, and exotic animal medicine. She is ecstatic to see all of your pets, including those with feathers and scales.

Dr. Mary lives in Lebanon with her husband Chris, and her two small children, Evangeline and Tobias. She has a herd of rescue cats Grizzabella, Katana, O’Malley, and Duchess. She also has a bearded dragon named Firebird. Dr. Mary loves expressing her big personality with wild scrubs and hair colors. In her spare time she loves cooking, working out, and having dance parties with her kiddos.

Dr. Morgan
Veterinarian

Dr. Morgan is a graduate of The Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky.  Dr. Morgan recently completed an intensive six month training program in small animal emergency medicine, further strengthening her skills!

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Morgan enjoys reading murder mysteries, traveling, spending quality time with her family and fostering animals in need.  She is passionate about providing high quality care to both her patients and their people.

Dr. Sarah
Veterinarian

Dr. Sarah grew up in Monroe, OH and has been working in a veterinary hospital since she was 16, starting out as a kennel assistant. She completed her undergraduate at the University of Findlay majoring in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary emphasis. She then completed vet school in St. Kitts at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and went to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete her clinical rotations in 2025.

Dr. Sarah currently lives in Cincinnati and is looking to start her own collection of fur babies. In her spare time she loves to make it to as many Reds games as possible as well as read and make sourdough.

HOSPITAL MANAGERS

Mindi
Manager

Mindi started working in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant in 1997. Mindi has been with Four Paws Animal Hospital since February 2007. She is a lifelong animal lover with five pets of her own: two rescue cats named Darla and Caroline; and three dogs named Gladys, Frannie and Fiona. She enjoys taking educational vacations with her son, Gabriel, and her husband, Aaron. In her spare time, Mindi enjoys cleaning, yard work, and reading.

Heather
Manager

Heather has been with Four Paws since July 2008. She has two cats, Orion and Willow and two dogs, Martin and Elaine.  Heather enjoys reading and watching movies.

TECHNICIANS

Kim
Veterinary Technician

Kim moved to Ohio from Colorado Springs, CO in 2019 and started with Four Paws December 2019. She graduated from PIMA as a Certified Veterinary Technician and has an Associate’s degree in Applied Science as well as a Bachelors degree in Biology and Psychology. Kim has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. She enjoys hobbies such as camping, gardening, games, and swimming. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter, her dogs Maverick and Goose.

ASSISTANTS

Gillian
Veterinary Assistant

Gillian has been working with animals for over ten years. Gillian has been with Four Paws since December 2013. She lives with her husband Joel, their energetic daughter Juliet and son Nathaniel.  They have a dog named Bellamy.  In her spare time, Gillian enjoys hiking, classic movies, and spending time with her family.

Shiloh
Veterinary Assistant

Shiloh had been working in the veterinary field for over seven years before joining Four Paws in 2014. She has two dogs, Ollie and Tater, as well as three cats Nugget, Harriet and Simba. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Shae and Sienna.

Morgan
Veterinary Assistant

Morgan has been an animal lover all her life and has been riding horses since she was nine years old. She has been with Four Paws since January 2015. She has two dogs, Onyx and Brutus. In her free time, Morgan likes spending time with her husband Trevor, their two beautiful daughters and adorable son.  She enjoys having fun with her friends, camping, going to Reds games and being with her Four Paws family.

Alex
Veterinary Assistant

Alex has been with Four Paws since November 2018. She has been working with animals since 2013, following in her mother’s footsteps. Alex has always stayed true to her passions in life and animals are one of those! She loves spending time with her two German Shepherds, Peralta and Amy, as well as her two cats Shadow and Walter. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and hanging with her animals.

Angela
Veterinary Assistant

Angela has been an animal lover her entire life! She enjoys spending time outdoors and with all of her furry family. Angela loves spending time with her daughter Jaden, who is very involved with 4H. They have two dogs, Zara, a German Shepard, Deano a pit bull, three cats, Meeko, Rascal and Atticus, a duck named Tiki, two rabbits, and a leopard gecko. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and riding horses.

Bri
Veterinary Assistant

Bri is a graduate of Miami University with a degree in Zoology.  She has been with Four Paws since October 2018.  Bri has a rabbit named Kawliga. Bri has been an animal lover since she was little and is happy to be working with them on a daily basis.

Heather
Veterinary Assistant

Heather has been with Four Paws since 2021. Heather has worked in the animal/veterinary field for over 20 years. She has two sons and one cat named Church. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts and being outdoors.

Lauren
Veterinary Assistant

Lauren joined Four Paws in July of 2021. She resides in Waynesville with her partner Bradley and two children, Dawson and Kennedy. Lauren has a long-time love of animals including her two dogs, Rocky and Ranger, and a cat named Rusty. In her spare time, Lauren loves any outside activities with family during Summer and Fall. She can’t wait to spend many more years being a part of the Four Paws family.

Rhonda
Veterinary Assistant

Rhonda is from Waynesville and has been with Four Paws since October 2021. Ever since Rhonda was a young girl, she has had a love for animals and knew she wanted to be in the Veterinary field.  A year ago Rhonda adopted  a Pug named Max. In her free time she enjoys being with friends, hiking and working on classic cars with her dad. Rhonda is excited for her future with her Four Paws family.

Morgan
Veterinary Assistant

Morgan is a graduate of Wittenberg University is currently a student at the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. She currently lives in Loveland with her family and three dogs, Murphy, Skye, and Baxter. In her free time, Morgan enjoys playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, and being outside.

Sofia
Veterinary Assistant

A graduate of  Lebanon High School, Sofia has a promising future ahead of her.  She loves spending time with animals, especially cats! Sofia enjoys spending time with her feline family members, Jay, Cassius, Bruce, Nugget and Jerome, two dogs, Max and Finn and a bearded dragon named Alphonsa. Sofie plans on attending college and going into a business field, such as accounting.

Emily
Veterinary Assistant

Emily started working at Four Paws in July of 2010.  After moving out of state for a few years, she returned to Ohio with her family and rejoined Four Paws in September 2023. She lives in Waynesville with her husband Sam and two kids, Nolan and Norah. They have two dogs, Oz and Cadet and two cats, Lenny and Louise. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking and renovating their old farmhouse.

Sydney
Veterinary Assistant

Sydney is a graduate of Lebanon High School. She has a dog named Makita and a cat named Clementine. She loves spending time with animals, especially horses and dogs. She also enjoys spending time at Norris Lake. She attends UC, majoring in the biology of animals and working her way up to becoming a veterinarian.

Lisa
Receptionist

Lisa joined the Four Paws Family in June 2019. Prior to that, she taught soccer to preschool children for 10 years. Lisa moved here from England when she was 10, so you may notice an accent!! Lisa has two dogs, Tobias and Maggie, two cats, Oakley and Chelsea, and one rabbit. During her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and being active outdoors with her husband, Bart. Lisa also has a crazy obsession with anything that has to do with soccer!!!

Bonnie
Receptionist

Bonnie joined Four Paws in September 2021. She has lived in Lebanon for over 30 years. She spends her time gardening, traveling, and watching her children play sports. Bonnie has a dog named Muffin and a cat named Krispy.

Allison
Receptionist

Allison joined Four Paws in September of 2022. She graduated from Springboro High School in 2018. Allison enjoys reading, watching football ,attending concerts and spending time with family and friends. She has a cat named Lobster.

Rhonda
Receptionist

Rhonda joined Four Paws in May 2023. She resides in Lebanon with her husband, Ted and son Adam. Rhonda currently has a golden doodle named Lulu. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts and movies with friends as well as watching the Bengals!

Michelle
Receptionist

Michelle joined Four Paws in July 2023. Michelle relocated to Lebanon from North Carolina in 2023 with her wife and small zoo of pets including a Lowchen, Mini Poodle and a Chahoua gecko. She brings a decade of vet med experience to the job, plus a passion for exotic pets, senior animals, and rare breed dogs/cats. Michelle spends her free time competing in dog sports, hiking, and getting to know more about Ohio. If you bring a Toy poodle in for an appointment, don’t forget to hand it over to Michelle for a cuddle!

Mandy
Receptionist

Mandy resides in Oregonia with her husband, Ryan, and their two daughters.  She has two dogs, Otto and Klaus, and seven cats.  Mandy loves reading and walking/hiking with Otto.  Mandy also volunteers with a local organization that helps provide protective gear, training equipment and medical supplies to police K9s and certified search and rescue dogs.

Emily
Receptionist

Emily joined Four Paws Animal Hospital in 2018 and took time away in 2021 to travel and explore the American West, returning in 2023. During her travels, she discovered a passion for outdoor recreation like skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and rockhounding. A highlight of her adventure was finding her dog Carbon, a border collie mix, on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. Now back at Four Paws, Emily is excited to continue her work with animals while enjoying midwestern adventures with sweet Carbon.

Beth
Receptionist

Beth started working at Four Paws in November of 2023. Bethanna grew up in Vanceburg, KY before moving to Ohio in March 1995. She moved to California in 2009 and relocated back to Lebanon in 2016.  She helped her mother with a Pomeranian kennel, and had German Shepherds of her own which developed her love for animals. Beth has always had animals in her life and has raised a wide variety of different breeds. Beth loves to do crafts, baking and enjoys raising her two kids, one Husky, two Pomskies, and two cats, with her fiancé James. She loves meeting the new pets that come in daily, always looking forward to the kisses they give.

Raegan
Receptionist

Raegan started working at Four Paws in April of 2024. She grew up in Monroe but currently lives in Franklin. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2023. In her free time she loves reading, listening to music, going to as many concerts as she can, and just spending time with friends and family. She also loves spending time with her two cats Freddie and Luna!

Lindsey
Receptionist

Lindsey has been with Four Paws since December 2023. She graduated from Butler Tech Natural Science in 2021 with a focus on Veterinary Science and has been dedicated to the veterinary field ever since. She enjoys connecting with clients and the diverse range of patients she encounters. Lindsey is a proud cat owner and loves spending time with her loved ones and reading books in her free time.

SURGERY ASSISTANTS

Jess
Surgery Assistant/Human Resources Lead

Jess has been with Four Paws since 2016. She started working on a farm at the age of 13 and that is when she knew she wanted to always work with animals. Jess enjoys her time outside with her husband, Collin and their son. They love all animals and are always willing to give one a chance. Jess has collected many different species in her time with us, four dogs, seven cats, two goats, chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys.

Cassidy
Surgery Assistant

Cassidy started with Four Paws in September 2024. She has been working around animals since she was a baby. Cassidy’s mom put her on her horse when she came home from the hospital! Her family has a horse farm in Wilmington, operating since the late 90’s. She owns two horses, Tommy and Singer and a ferret, Ellie Mae.  In her free time she loves to go hunting, fishing, hiking, spending time with her animals and cooking.

KENNEL ASSISTANTS

Tracy
Kennel Assistant

Tracy has been with Four Paws since November 2020. A true animal lover with  a very goofy and photogenic black labrador retriever named Tressel, as well as two loving cats. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family by traveling and exploring new places.

Antonia
Kennel Assistant

Antonia is a graduate of Lebanon High School as well as Warren County Career Center with focus on the veterinary science program.  Animals have always been a big part of her life leading her to pursue education and a career in the veterinary field.  Antonia has three guinea pigs and a Chihuahua. Upon completion of high school she will continue her education to become a registered veterinary technician.

Brooke
Kennel Assistant

Brooke has been with Four Paws since December 2024. Brooke attends Springboro High School and Warren County Career Center, as well as Sinclair Community College. She has loved animals her whole life which has led her to the veterinary field. Brooke has two Labs, three cats, and two horses. In her free time, she likes to ride horses and spends time with her family. Once she graduates, she would like to continue her education to become a Veterinary Technician.

Allison
Kennel Assistant

Allie attends Lebanon High school and will graduate in 2027. She started working at Four Paws in March 2025. Although she wants to become a Special Education teacher, she has always had an interest in animals. She loves spending time with her friends and family. She has two cats, Ben and Violet as well as her golden retriever Zoey
